Program Overview

Passaic County CPA's, Lakeland Bank of Wayne, NJ is hosting a free CPE seminar presented by Scarinci Hollenbeck Attorneys Frank L. Brunetti, James F. McDonough, Jr. and Robert E. Levy.

Mr. Brunetti and Mr. McDonough will be discussing Accountant Liability under New Jersey Law, Tax Preparer Liability under Circular 230; Standards of Care under the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct.

Mr. Levy will be presenting on the topic "What to do when the FBI/IRS comes to "visit".

PRESENTERS

Frank L. Brunetti is Chair of Scarinci Hollenbecks Tax, Trusts and Estates Group; Professor of Law and Taxation at the Fairleigh Dickinson University MS in Taxation Program and author of Fundamentals of Federal Tax Accounting published by the American Law Institute-American Bar Association. Mr. Brunetti has extensive experience assisting tax practitioners with issues regarding tax controversies and the IRS and State and Local Agencies.

James F. McDonough, Jr. is the editor to the firm's Tax, Trust and Estates blog and concentrates on wealth preservation and estate planning for high net worth individuals, closely held business matters and ownership succession, estate administration and income tax planning.

Robert E. Levy is chair of the firm’s Litigation Group, his practice includes jury and non-jury trial preparation and trials with emphasis upon complex civil and criminal matters including Labor and Employment Defense, Commercial and Corporate Litigation, Criminal Litigation and Civil Rights Litigation.
