    Joseph Donegan’s experience encompasses virtually all areas of business and corporate law, including forming and organizing new business entities, counseling clients on seeking capital from private investors, structuring complex commercial and corporate transactions, divestitures, and mergers and acquisitions. His extensive business and financial background enables him to provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals, closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and public corporations operating across a multitude of industry groups. His practice also focuses on the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate litigation and elder law.

    In 1998, Mr. Donegan was appointed by the Governor as a New Jersey Commissioner on Uniform Legislation and also serves as a member of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL). NCCUSL, in existence for over 100 years, works to propose legislation on subjects of national importance for which uniformity by states is desirable. Mr. Donegan was selected to serve on the NCCUSL drafting committee, which meets throughout the year to draft the proposed uniform laws and was recently designated as the member of the New Jersey Commission on Uniform Legislation to serve as the Legislative Liaison. As the Legislative Liaison, Mr. Donegan appears before the New Jersey governing body to advocate the adoption of uniform acts.
