Mr. Dias has extensive experience representing private and public sector clients from the perspective of management on a wide variety of labor and employment matters, including claims under State and Federal laws pertaining to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, employee leaves, disability, wage and hour violations, charges of unfair labor practices, restrictive covenants and employee terminations and disciplinary actions.
Mr. Dias has also served as counsel to corporations, counties, educational institutions and numerous municipalities on issues concerning employee disciplines, interpretation of Collective Bargaining Agreements, ADA compliance, workplace harassment and discrimination, drug testing, wrongful discharge, retaliation, bullying, and employee leaves. He has also served as lead counsel in collective bargaining negotiations. He has worked with management to develop employee handbooks and policies, investigated claims under laws against discrimination and has conducted in-house training seminars for employers on various employment practices geared to minimize the potential for litigation
