On April 7, 2009, Jay V. Surgent appeared live on TruTV's In Session program (formerly known as Court TV) on the Best Defense segment of the show, hosted by Jami Floyd. The 2 hour program that was delivered to a national audience featured coverage of a murder case in Louisville, KY, entitled State v. Vicki Monroe. A nationally known criminal defense expert, Mr. Surgent commented on defense strategy, the prosecution's witnesses and defense of the matter. Mr. Surgent has extensive experience in federal, state and administrative courts defending individual and corporate clients who have been investigated or charged with criminal, civil, or administrative and regulatory offenses.
