Scarinci Hollenbeck provides a range of services in the area of transportation law that encompasses railroad law, motor carrier law, admiralty law and pipeline law.

A primary focus of the firm's transportation practice is railroad law. We provide a spectrum of services to our railroad clients by drawing upon the expertise of many practices throughout the firm, including administration/legislative, litigation, environmental and land use, labor and employment, and corporate law and commercial transactions. We regularly represent clients before government agencies and courts and counsel them on Federal statute and regulation matters.

Many of our environmental attorneys have worked with railroads in many different capacities, from applying for permits from State and Federal agencies, to responding to emergencies caused by fuel spills. Our business law attorneys assist in a range of transactions, including corporation formation, finance, bankruptcy protection, real estate transactions, labor and employment disputes, tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, and insurance coverage issues. In addition, our litigators are prepared to provide our railroad clients with risk management and alternative dispute resolution services and, if necessary, effective litigation services.
