Thomas Segreto’s practice encompasses the areas of local government law and land use and zoning. Mr. Segreto is well versed in the Open Public Records Act as well as the Open Public Meetings Act. He has handled matters on behalf of municipalities pertaining to the exercise of police powers, civil liability, municipal court appeals, matters involving shared services between public entities, Land Use and Zoning ordinances, UCC and related construction issues, public contract bid specifications and attendant Local Public Contract Law issues as well as matters relating to local government officers and employees.

Mr. Segreto served as General Counsel to the Municipal Clerks Association of New Jersey, Inc. from 2003-2008. In addition to providing advice and counsel on operating issues of a non profit corporation, he provides training on the Open Public Records Act and Open Public Meetings Act, as well as other local ordinances and laws.
